All Checked in
One great thing I found out about flying Lufthansa in Germany is that if you have a flight prior to 8:30 a.m., there are certain counters that allow you to check in the night before between 6 and 9 p.m. Dresden is one of them.
Asuka took me to check in my luggage, and I found out that I will need a visa in Turkey! I can purchase one for $20 when I get there. This would have been nice to know prior to leaving. Oh, well. At least I can get one.
Afterwards, we checked out a Russian restaurant in the World Trade Center. We’ve decided that this will be a cool summer place to hang out. Asuka and Carrie know a lot of cool things to do around here.
I love trying new foods, and I have to say, I really enjoyed my beef stroganoff with…of course, potatoes!
Well, I better get some sleep. I have to catch a plane at 6 a.m.! Tschuss!
